Well, here we are.  We’re in an unprecedented global pandemic, which has put millions of people on lock down.  How are you doing? Don’t we all feel like this young girl peering through the blinds?! I know I’ve certainly had some emotional days.  I left the city and I’m now with family in the suburbs.  I thought about going back, but then it just keeps getting worse. On Friday morning, Governor Cuomo shut down 100% of the workforce that is not essential.  So right now, I’m staying put even if I’m not in my own bed or in my own space. Then of course, there are those that are stuck in their apartments by themselves and really struggling.

This week changed everything for us.  I think we didn’t realize how we’d feel at this point and that we don’t really see the light at the end of the tunnel.  We don’t know when this will end.  We don’t know when our normal lives will resume again.  I keep thinking about those that are really hit hard by this – people that are stuck in unsafe homes, children without enough food, people that already lost their jobs not knowing how they will be able to survive financially, and most importantly, the people have that already succumbed to this virus and passed away.

So here’s my plan to make it a little bit better for all of us.  I’m here. I’m here for you whenever you need. Even if we don’t know each other, please reach out.  Send me an email. Send me a message.  You are not in this alone.  In the age of incredible technology and internet, we can do so much to connect in this time of need. Keep connecting.  Keep texting. Keep calling.  Keep FaceTiming. Keep Zooming. Let’s connect even more because we need it now, more than ever. I’m here and I hope you are too.
